Warming up backstage, I watched Ella Jenkins, Chicago’s ‘First Lady of Children’s Music’, as she quietly hummed her tunes. An inspiration, a legend.

Waiting for me was the Spotify’s Chicago Blues playlist. Intense, raw, it captured essence of the city.

As night fell, I found myself humming along the tunes of the Windy City. You can taste the music here, in every gust of wind.
