- 500g Spaghetti
- 500g Beef Mince
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 400g can chopped tomatoes
- 3 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
- Cook the spaghetti according to packet instructions.
- Heat a large frying pan and add the beef mince. Cook until browned.
- Add the onions, garlic, and red pepper to the panel. Cook for 5-7 mins or until the onions are soft.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, dried herbs, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 mins.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the pan. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
- Serve hot with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
